Commercial CAT Scale Weight Analyzer
Enter your scale ticket and the targets that apply to your truck and route. TowAtlas will show what is heavy and suggest the most likely adjustment path before you reweigh.

Comparison targets
Enter rates only if you know them for your equipment. TowAtlas will use them to estimate holes or notches.
What TowAtlas will suggest
- Trailer heavy: move tandems rearward to transfer weight toward the drives.
- Drives heavy: move tandems forward to transfer weight toward the trailer axles.
- Steer / drive balance: consider fifth-wheel position when ratings and equipment allow.
- Gross heavy: redistribution cannot fix gross weight; fuel or cargo must be reduced.
Redistribute first when the gross is acceptable.
If gross weight is within your entered target but one axle group is heavy, weight may be able to move between axle groups. Tandem movement primarily changes the drive/trailer split. Fifth-wheel movement primarily changes the steer/drive split. Cargo position can affect more than one group and may be the better answer when mechanical adjustment cannot bring every group within target.
If gross weight itself exceeds the entered target, sliding equipment cannot reduce total weight. Reduce fuel or cargo as appropriate, then reweigh.
